About this event
A musical-theatre competition for performers presenting songs as fully acted scenes. Contestants are judged not only on singing, but on character, objective, storytelling, movement, and integration of music and acting.
Prize
$4,000 cash plus a professional musical-theatre reel and coaching package.
Performers must submit the song, cut, accompaniment, and rights information in advance and remain within the time limit. The performance must be primarily theatrical rather than a standalone vocal recital. Scoring follows the published musical-theatre rubric and verified audience voting.
