Refunds & Cancellations

This policy explains how charges, refunds, and cancellations work on Quborly. It is part of our Terms of Service. Specific events may have their own refund rules set by the Host, which are shown on the event page; where a Host’s stated policy is more generous, it applies.

1. Conditional Ticket Pre-Sale Events

• When you reserve a spot, your payment method is saved and you authorize a later charge up to the disclosed amount, but you are not charged while the pre-sale is pending.
• If the event reaches its minimum reservations by the reservation deadline and the organizer finalizes required event details without a material change, your saved payment method may be charged automatically and your ticket is confirmed.
• If material details change before charge, Quborly may require you to review and reconfirm the reservation before any charge is made.
• If the event does not reach its minimum, it is not confirmed and no charge is made.

2. Ticket Delivery and Event Access

Standard paid tickets are confirmed after checkout succeeds and appear in your Quborly account under Tickets. Conditional ticket pre-sale reservations are not confirmed tickets until the event reaches its minimum and payment succeeds. Virtual event access is provided from the event page to eligible ticket holders; do not publicly expose private access links.

3. Standard (Direct) Ticket Purchases

For events sold at a fixed price, your purchase is charged at checkout. Refund eligibility depends on the Host’s stated policy for that event. Unless the Host offers a more generous policy, paid tickets are generally non-refundable except as described below or as required by law.

For a challenge showcase, an audience ticket purchases admission to the live event—not a participant entry, ballot, donation, prize, recording, replay, or guarantee that a particular contestant will appear. A contestant’s delayed, completed, or human-confirmed forfeited slot does not by itself cancel the event or create an automatic refund right. A cancellation or material change to the event as a whole is handled under the next section and any non-waivable law.

Series subscriptions: monthly payments are not prorated or refunded when you cancel; you keep that month’s tickets. If the Host cancels a session, ask the Host about a refund for that session; the Host may refund it through Quborly.

Course passes: cancelling one session of a series refunds that session’s share of the pass.

Ticket credits: if you used a Host’s ticket credit, a refund covers the amount you actually paid. If the booking is canceled before it is charged, the credit is restored only while it remains valid. Unused credits earned from a purchase are revoked if that purchase is fully refunded or disputed.

4. Event Cancellations & Material Changes

If a Host cancels an event after you have been charged, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. If a Host makes a material change (for example, a significant change to date, time, or format) you may request a refund. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Event sponsors are refunded the full amount they paid, including the service fee, if the event is cancelled before the sponsorship is paid out to the organizer. See the Payments Policy for how sponsorship payments are held and released.

5. Community Memberships

Paid community memberships may be one-time or recurring as described at checkout. You can cancel a recurring membership at any time; cancellation stops future charges and access continues until the end of the current paid period. Membership fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Advertising Credits & Promotions

Advertising credits and promotion purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Credits have no cash value and may expire. If we remove a promotion for violating our policies, no refund is provided.

7. Platform & Processing Fees

When a refund is issued, the ticket price is returned to the buyer. Payment-processing fees may be non-recoverable depending on our processor’s rules at the time of the transaction. Quborly’s platform fee is refunded when the underlying charge is fully refunded due to a cancellation by the Host or by Quborly.

8. How to Request a Refund

First contact the Host through the event page. If you cannot resolve the issue, or your purchase qualifies for a refund under this policy, contact us at support@quborly.com with your order details. We aim to respond within a few business days.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your bank so we can help resolve it. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or consumer- protection rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
