For attendees & members

Create an account: Sign up with your email and a password, then verify your email from the link we send. You can browse public events and communities without an account, but you'll need one to reserve, buy, join, or post.
Find events: Use Discover to search and filter by category, location, date, format (online/in-person), and price. Public events and communities are discoverable; unlisted and invite-only ones are not.
Reserve a pre-sale ticket: On a conditional ticket pre-sale, you save a payment method and authorize a future charge up to the disclosed amount. You are not charged while the pre-sale is pending. If the event reaches its minimum by the reservation deadline and the disclosed terms still match, your saved card may be charged automatically. If it does not, no charge is made. See the Payments Policy and the pre-sale tutorial.
Buy a ticket: For fixed-price events you pay at checkout. The total, including any fees, is shown before you confirm. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. See the Payments Policy for seller, fee, dispute, and prohibited-transaction rules.
Refunds & cancellations: Refund eligibility depends on the organizer's stated policy, shown on the event page and before checkout. If an organizer cancels, you're refunded the ticket price. See the Refund Policy.
Earn a ticket credit by inviting a friend: When a creator offers invite rewards, use Get my invite link on the event page and share it yourself. A friend must follow that link and successfully buy a paid ticket; pending pre-sales count only after charging. You can earn one credit per shared event, worth up to what your friend paid, and it becomes usable once that event starts. Find it under Tickets and choose it at checkout on a future event from that same creator. It applies once to an individual event booking, cannot stack with a promo code, has no cash value, and has no remaining balance after use. Full refunds or disputes revoke unused rewards. Credits already committed to a booking are honored; failed or canceled bookings restore a credit only while its qualifying purchase remains valid.
Join a community: Communities can be free or paid. Paid memberships disclose recurring billing at checkout; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period.
Privacy controls: Manage profile visibility and attendance/membership visibility from your profile settings. Private and invite-only participation is never shown publicly.
Report a safety issue: Use the Report controls on any event, community, or profile, or email safety@quborly.com. See the Safety Center.
Join a virtual showcase: Accepted contestants and team presenters receive a published screen-time slot and readiness deadline. Join backstage early and mark yourself ready. A missed deadline is not an automatic forfeiture: the producer checks availability and reasonable technical or accommodation issues before recording any forfeiture.
Join a live course or webinar: On the web event page, enter the live classroom with your confirmed ticket. Use Chat for discussion, Q&A to ask and upvote questions, and Raise hand to request microphone access. When invited, rejoin and choose to unmute. Recorded sessions require your consent before you request the microphone. Resources remain available on the event page to eligible ticket holders.
Join speed networking: When the host runs speed networking, choose Join speed networking on the event page or in the app. Each round moves you into a short private conversation; you decide whether to use your camera and microphone, and you can leave a conversation anytime. Tap Connect to share profiles — they're only shared if the other person connects too. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable; you won't be matched again.
Join networking or mixers: Eligible attendees may use camera and microphone in networking and mixer rooms. These rooms are moderated and live-only, with no Quborly recording or replay. Leave camera or microphone off whenever you do not want to share them.

For organizers

Create an event: Use Create to add title, description, category, date/time, timezone, location or virtual link, capacity, ticket type, price, and refund policy. Every event, free or paid, requires payout onboarding. Virtual and hybrid events require Creator Pro or Scale.
Teach a course or host a webinar: Choose Course or Webinar when you create the event, or later in event management. Courses can run in person or online; webinars need a virtual or hybrid broadcast room (Creator Pro or Scale). In event management you can build the curriculum (lessons grouped into sections, linked to live sessions), add multiple-choice knowledge checks with a pass mark, upload slide decks, and share textbooks, print handouts, worksheets and links. Uploading files is included with Creator Pro (10 GB) and Scale (50 GB), counted across all of your events; on the Free plan, share materials as links. Files can be PDF, EPUB, Office, Keynote, spreadsheets, text or ZIP up to 50 MB each, and only confirmed ticket holders can download them. In the live classroom, choose Present slides and use Next/Previous or the arrow keys; every attendee's screen follows, including in the mobile app. Share screen is still available for a browser tab or application. The Class progress table shows each learner's lessons and certificate.
Take a course and earn a certificate: With a confirmed ticket, open the course on the event page (or Course in the mobile app). Read each lesson, download its materials, and either mark it complete or pass its knowledge check. A ticket to any session of a multi-session course opens the whole course. When every lesson is complete you receive a certificate with a verification link you can print, save as PDF or share.
Record and download a virtual event: Recording isn't switched on for Quborly events yet. Once it is, it works like this: in event management, open Live stage & backstage and enable recording before creating your session. Open and join the main stage, collect presenter consent, and choose Start recording. Stop recording or end the session, then wait for processing and choose Download MP4 under Session recordings. Downloads are private to the event creator and do not require publishing a replay. Save your copy before the displayed file removal date. Recordings include stage cameras, microphones and screen shares; share the slide window or tab to include uploaded slides. Backstage and classroom chat are excluded. Networking, mixers and showcases remain live-only.
Offer a monthly subscription for a recurring series: On Creator Pro or Scale, create a recurring series (for example, a weekly virtual networking event) with paid tickets. In event management, open Monthly subscription, set a monthly price and save. Attendees subscribe from any session's page and are billed monthly; each paid month gives them a ticket to every session that starts in it, including sessions you add later. They can cancel anytime and keep that month's tickets. Subscriptions stop renewing when the series has no upcoming sessions. You keep 100% of the price; attendees pay the service fee.
Run speed networking: On the Scale plan, create a virtual networking or mixer event, open the live room, then use Speed networking in event management's live production panel. Choose minutes per round, pairs or groups of 3–4, and the number of rounds. Attendees opt in from the event page or the app; each round moves them into private video conversations, avoiding repeat matches. When a round ends everyone returns to the main room, and auto-advance can start the next round after a short break. Attendees can Connect (profiles are shared only when both agree) or Report someone (they won't be matched again and you'll see the report). Speed networking is live-only and never recorded.
Offer friend invite rewards: In event management, open Friend invite rewards, enable the option, and choose a USD credit amount from $1 to $200 (for example, $5). The event creator funds it through a discount on a future event. One paid referred purchase unlocks one credit for the inviter, with a maximum of one credit per inviter per shared event. Existing invite links keep their quoted reward while enabled. Turning the option off stops new qualifying reservations and preserves earned credits and pending commitments.
Create a pre-sale event: Choose a pre-sale, interest list, or location-reveal pre-sale. Attendees either reserve with explicit future-charge consent or join an interest list with no card required. Conditional pre-sales require Creator Pro or Scale (or an approved nonprofit grant or eligible Business Plus page).
Free vs paid events: Every event, free ones included, needs a connected Stripe payout account before you can create it. That ties each listing to a verified identity and means a free event can later be switched to paid.
Payouts: Payouts run through Stripe Connect and depend on your onboarding and verification status. Public verification is separate from payout onboarding. See the Payments Policy.
Refunds: Issue refunds per your stated policy. Fully refunded charges return the platform fee where the cancellation is by you or by Quborly.
Manage attendees & sales: Track reservations and sales from your dashboard. Cancelling an event notifies attendees, releases pending reservations, and refunds completed charges where required.
Community memberships: Offer free or paid membership. Paid memberships must disclose recurring billing; members can cancel anytime.
Event privacy & safety: Choose public, unlisted, invite-only, or approval-required. Don't expose private venue details unless intended. See organizer expectations in the Safety Center.
Schedule a showcase: In a draft round, publish a sequential run of show with a first start time, per-contestant duration, optional transition time, and readiness lead time. A one-hour block can hold 20 three-minute slots when no transition time is added. Once the round is scheduled, its roster and screen times are frozen.
Keep the live event on track: The producer console shows the current and next contestant, countdown, readiness state, and backstage presence. Call, start, complete, or human-confirm a forfeited slot with a recorded reason after checking technical and accommodation circumstances.

Ticket Delivery and Event Access

Standard paid tickets: your ticket is confirmed after checkout succeeds. It appears in your Quborly account under Tickets, and confirmation is sent by email when email delivery is configured. Organizers verify entry with the ticket QR code or attendee roster.

Conditional ticket pre-sales: a pending reservation is not a confirmed ticket. It becomes a confirmed ticket only after the event reaches its minimum by the reservation deadline and payment succeeds. If payment fails, you may need to update your payment method. If the minimum is not reached, the event is not confirmed and no charge is made.

Virtual events: access opens from the event page for eligible ticket holders. Do not publicly share private access links. If you cannot access a virtual event, contact support before the event starts.

Cancelled or rescheduled events: refunds return to the original payment method when required by the refund policy. Processing time depends on Stripe and the card issuer. For material schedule changes, attendees may request a refund under the Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
