Official Competition Rules
Last updated: July 8, 2026
These Official Rules govern skill-based competitions produced by Temp and Major Inc (doing business as Quborly) (“Quborly,” the “Sponsor” and “Administrator”). They are part of our Terms of Service. Each competition’s event page states the specific dates, entry fee, prize amounts, categories, and judging panel; where an event page differs from these general rules, the event page controls. Competitions hosted by third parties on Quborly are governed by that organizer’s own official rules, not this document.
1. Sponsor and Administrator
Quborly-produced competitions are sponsored and administered by Temp and Major Inc (doing business as Quborly). Quborly provides the event, registration, reservation, payment, and community technology. For competitions produced by third parties, the third-party organizer is the sponsor and administrator and bears legal responsibility for the competition; Quborly provides technology only.
2. Skill-based
These are skill-based competitions. Winners are selected by judging of skill and performance, not by chance. Entry may require a ticket or entry fee as shown on the event page.
3. Eligibility
Entrants must meet the minimum age and any category or geographic eligibility stated on the event page, and must comply with our Community Guidelines. Employees and immediate family of the Sponsor involved in administering a competition are not eligible to win that competition. Void where prohibited.
4. How to enter
Enter through the competition’s event page during the entry period shown there, following the contestant instructions. Incomplete or late entries are not accepted.
5. Judging and winner selection
Entries are evaluated by the judging panel and criteria described on the event page (which may include audience input where stated). Judges’ decisions are final. Winners are notified through the contact details on their Quborly account after the competition concludes.
6. Prizes
The prize for each competition is described on its event page. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash except as stated. The prize status shown on the event page (for example, proposed, subject to confirmation, or guaranteed) reflects the current commitment level and is accurate at the time of display.
7. Taxes
Winners are responsible for all taxes on prizes. Where required by law, the Sponsor will request tax information and issue the applicable forms (for example, a U.S. IRS Form 1099 for prizes at or above the reporting threshold) before a prize is paid.
8. Cancellation and changes
The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel a competition if it cannot be run as planned (for example, insufficient eligible entries, a venue that cannot be confirmed, or events beyond the Sponsor’s control). Any amounts collected are handled under our Refunds & Cancellations policy. Material changes after entrants have paid follow our re-confirmation process.
9. Conduct and disqualification
Entrants who violate these rules, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or who submit work that is not their own, may be disqualified.
10. Governing law and disputes
These rules and any competition are governed by the terms, dispute resolution, and governing-law provisions of our Terms of Service.
